A spot on the wall
By: Wes Compton

Staring at a spot on the wall

In a dark and quiet room

Not sure whether to cry or go crazy

So many emotions

So many feelings

Words can’t show it

I can’t avoid it

It’s a gathering of many thoughts

All but happiness

And threw all that it still I still don’t have regret

Not for my feelings for you

Not for what we had

Only for each others mistakes

Life will go on

But you will always have something of mine

I chipped off a piece of my heart

Left it for you to have

Hold it close

And I will always be warm inside

Warm with the feeling of love
